Introduction.
CommuniCloud Japan Co., Ltd. ( “we” , “us” or “our” ) promotes the protection of personal information by establishing the following privacy policy, building a system for the protection of personal information, and ensuring that all employees recognize the importance of protecting personal information and take appropriate measures.
- Compliance with laws and regulations: with respect to the acquisition, use, and all other handling of personal information of customers, we comply with the Act on the Protection of Personal Information in Japan, the provisions of the Telecommunications Business Act in Japan, and other related laws and regulations in Japan, as well as this Privacy Policy.
- Acquisition of Personal Information: We don’t acquire personal information through deception or other wrongful ways but acquire it in an appropriate manner.
- Use of Personal Information: We use personal information within the scope necessary to achieve the following purposes of use. If we use personal information for purposes not specified below, we will obtain the prior consent of the person in question.

- Safety Management of Personal Information: We endeavor to keep customers’ personal information accurate and up-to-date, and take necessary and appropriate safety management measures to protect it from unauthorized access, falsification, leakage, loss, or damage.
- Supervision of Employees: We provide necessary and appropriate supervision of our employees to ensure the safe management of our customers’ personal information. We also provide our employees with the necessary education and training to ensure the proper handling of personal information.
- Consignment of Personal Information: We may consign all or part of personal information to a third party within the scope of the purpose of use in the order reception, sale, and provision of our products and services, repair work, fee-related work, and provision our promotional information for our services. In such cases, we conduct a rigorous investigation of the third party and exercise necessary and appropriate supervision over the third party to ensure the safe management of the personal information.
- Provision of Personal Information to Third Parties: We appropriately manage the personal information provided by our customers and do not disclose personal information to third parties except in the following cases

- When it is necessary to cooperate with a national agency, a local government, or an individual or entity entrusted by either of the former two in executing affairs prescribed by laws and regulations
- When submitting documents to public offices in connection with the performance of our business.
- Disclosure and correction of personal information: When we receive a request for disclosure of personal information from the person in question, we will promptly disclose the information. If we are unable to confirm the identity of the person making such a request, we will not disclose the information. If there is an error in the content of personal information and the person requests correction, addition, or deletion of the information, we will promptly respond to the request after investigation. If we are unable to confirm the identity of the person making the request, we will not comply with the request.
